Captivated By the Holy Spirit and the Fathers Heart...

Here is a song teaser from what we did tonight at the prayer house... prophetically written off of Luke 12:35-40.

Part of what was discovered was how Jesus tells us to be clothed in readiness and keep our lamps lit. As I was chewing on verse 35 tonight, the Lord began to show me what it was like to be one of the disciples keeping watch with Jesus as He was in the Garden of Gethsemane. Tired and falling asleep. Jesus coming back woke them up saying, "Can't you stay awake with me for one hour?" What was interesting was getting a picture of Jesus being captivated by the Holy Spirit and engaged with the Father's heart, not only here but throughout the time He was physically on this planet. This, I believe, is what it's going to take to "be ready"; Captivated by the Holy Spirit and the Fathers heart. Not only that but it's going to take us being continually filled with the Holy Spirit, not letting the lamps go empty; Holy Spirit being the oil. Otherwise we will be like the head of the house (paraphrased) letting the lamps go out, falling asleep, and getting robbed by the thief. This song is a prayer coming out of this revelation to be captivated for readiness.

Captured by Him,

Justin

  1. Hey man! Love the song! Feelin' the Lord on it for sure, I gotta hear the rest of it! I am so excited for the many more sounds and melodies the Lord has to come to release in the house of prayer here in the Burg as we seek His face and He brings revelation like this through prayer and song.
