The Greater Glory

Wellspring House of Prayer tuesday night a couple weeks ago we focused in on 2 Corinthians 3:7-18 and this is part of what came out of our time together.

2 Corinthians 3:7-17 NIV

Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts! Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away. But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Captivated By the Holy Spirit and the Fathers Heart...

Here is a song teaser from what we did tonight at the prayer house... prophetically written off of Luke 12:35-40.

Part of what was discovered was how Jesus tells us to be clothed in readiness and keep our lamps lit. As I was chewing on verse 35 tonight, the Lord began to show me what it was like to be one of the disciples keeping watch with Jesus as He was in the Garden of Gethsemane. Tired and falling asleep. Jesus coming back woke them up saying, "Can't you stay awake with me for one hour?" What was interesting was getting a picture of Jesus being captivated by the Holy Spirit and engaged with the Father's heart, not only here but throughout the time He was physically on this planet. This, I believe, is what it's going to take to "be ready"; Captivated by the Holy Spirit and the Fathers heart. Not only that but it's going to take us being continually filled with the Holy Spirit, not letting the lamps go empty; Holy Spirit being the oil. Otherwise we will be like the head of the house (paraphrased) letting the lamps go out, falling asleep, and getting robbed by the thief. This song is a prayer coming out of this revelation to be captivated for readiness.

Captured by Him,

Justin

Here We Go!

I'm looking forward to see what is in store for this next season. A friend of mine encouraged me to start a blog and share what I'm doing. So...here we go.

Mostly I'm not an artist but a musician/singer and a prophetic worshiper but I'm leaving it open on this blog what may or may not be posted here. You might find me posting worship clips on here too... who knows! This first post is of a sketch of a vision I had that was burning in my head and felt the Lord prompting me to draw it out.

This is a sketch of a vision I got last Thursday and I heard the Lord say, "Mystery," and "Secret." In the vision I was walking along and on the concrete I was walking on, a rectangular line appeared which then sunk into the ground, and split in the middle opening up, then formed steps dropping one by one forming a staircase down into darkness. There was no fear associated with the darkness but a sense of invitation into this secret place. Sunday while sharing this vision with the church, "Secret intelligence," was given to me by the Lord. Today He led me to these verses:

Matthew 13:11 AMP
11 And He replied to them, To you it has been given to know the secrets and  mysteries of the kingdom of heaven...

Psalm 18:11 AMP
He made darkness His secret hiding place; as His pavilion (His canopy) round about Him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.

Psalm 91:1 AMP
HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and  fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Who's power no foe can withstand].

Isaiah 45:3 AMP
And I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, Who calls you by your name.

Matthew 6:6 AMP
But when you pray, go into your [most] private room, and, closing the door, pray to your Father, Who is in secret; and your Father, Who sees in secret, will reward you in the open .

I believe this is an invitation for all of us to watch for the Lord's invitation to "Come with Me!"
